Dr. Douglas McKee is a graduate of Auburn University, AL where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Operations Management and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
He was an owner and senior veterinarian of a companion animal hospital for almost 20 years and in 2008 He decided to join the Chimney Lakes Animal Hospital team on a part-time basis. He has also been a co-founder in our community’s local emergency hospital and still continues to work as an emergency veterinarian. His father was also a veterinarian and was also the first veterinarian to establish a veterinary hospital in Clay County, Florida.
Dr. McKee has strong family ties to Italy and enjoys traveling. He also likes exercise, college football, and spending time with his wife Jill, and family including their Boston Terrier Janie.
